The PROTECTDRIP project aims to promote an even more sustainable agriculture, as it is created being aware of the natural environment.
The main objective of AZUD, through this project, is to develop a new micro-irrigation technology that integrates natural repellent defence systems against external agents such as insects and rodents, in order to maximise the good use of water for irrigation.
PROTECTDRIP allows to solve a new challenge in a highly sustainable and environmentally friendly way, guaranteeing the optimisation of water use and nutrient application in agriculture.
The PROTECTDRIP project (RTC-2017-5894-2) is funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities – State Research Agency and co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the call RETOS-COLABORACIÓN 2017 that supports projects in cooperation between companies and research organisations, whose objective is to promote Technological Development, Innovation and quality Research.
