PROTECTDRIP

DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW LOCALISED IRRIGATION SYSTEM CAPABLE OF SUSTAINABLY INHIBITING THE ACTIONS OF INSECTS AND RODENTS THAT PREVENT THE CONTROLLED APPLICATION OF WATER AND NUTRIENTS

The PROTECTDRIP project aims to promote an even more sustainable agriculture, as it is created being aware of the natural environment.

The main objective of AZUD, through this project, is to develop a new micro-irrigation technology that integrates natural repellent defence systems against external agents such as insects and rodents, in order to maximise the good use of water for irrigation.

PROTECTDRIP allows to solve a new challenge in a highly sustainable and environmentally friendly way, guaranteeing the optimisation of water use and nutrient application in agriculture.
