La Finca Tardienta has been transformed thanks to the implementation of Subsurface Drip Irrigation (SDI), becoming a prominent example of how to save water, fertilizers, and labor costs while increasing production.
Ismael, a corn producer, has not only significantly increased his production and reduced water and fertilizer consumption but has also overcome the challenges presented by wind and soil salinity in his area. The installation of SDI has facilitated cultivation and reduced maintenance tasks.

La Finca Tardienta faced the challenge of increasing its production despite water scarcity, high fertilizer prices, and constant wind that caused uneven crop growth. Additionally, it had to deal with highly saline soil.
The objective was to achieve greater efficiency in farm cultivation and maintenance while reducing labor costs.
The chosen installation option was the AZUD PREMIER PC AS emitter, specifically designed for Sub-Surface Drip Irrigation (SDI) systems. Its self-compensating and anti-suction technology prevents the entry of particles into the emitter after irrigation, ensuring optimal performance.
In addition, filtration equipment with disc technology and automatic cleaning, AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC DLP, was installed. It has a filtration degree of 130 microns and a flow rate of 180 m3/h, maintaining water in optimal conditions and ensuring a homogeneous mix and quality suitable for exceptional performance.
At AZUD, we take pride in providing solutions that meet the needs of each customer, understanding that their success is our success. The installation carried out on this farm features the AZUD PREMIER PC AS dripper.
