These can be <strong>turbulent, pressure-compensating, anti-suction or anti-drainage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In this article, we will briefly explain the differences between these models to help you choose the one that best suits your needs.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turbulent_Dripper\"><\/span>Turbulent Dripper<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>turbulent dripper or turbulent scheme dripper <\/strong>is a type of irrigation dripper whose flow rate varies according to the pressure it receives, being higher when the pressure increases and lower when the pressure decreases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The dripper is defined by the flow rate in litres\/hour that it emits at a pressure of 1 bar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This model is frequently used\u00a0<strong>in crops that are not very demanding in terms of uniformity<\/strong>\u00a0and in\u00a0<strong>plots with no slope\u00a0<\/strong>when the length of the drip lines is below certain limits recommended by the manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>Even under these conditions,\u00a0<strong>there will always be a difference in flow rate between the first drippers of each line with respect to the last <\/strong>ones, which receive less pressure.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pressure-compensating_dripper\"><\/span>Pressure-compensating dripper<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>pressure-compensating dripper<\/strong>\u00a0is a dripper that has a membrane inside that regulates the water flow depending on the pressure it receives so that\u00a0<strong>the emitted flow remains constant<\/strong>\u00a0in a range of pressures.\u00a0<strong>Most of the most popular models have an operating range between 0.5 and 4 bar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The role of a pressure-compensating irrigation dripper is to\u00a0<strong>improve irrigation uniformity and nutrition throughout the plantation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6130 \" src=\"https:\/\/azud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Tipos-goteros-riego-3-300x175.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/azud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Tipos-goteros-riego-3-300x175.jpg 300w, https:\/\/azud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Tipos-goteros-riego-3.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Anti-drain_dripper\"><\/span>Anti-drain dripper<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>anti-drainage dripper<\/strong>\u00a0is a version of the pressure-compensating dripper in which the membrane\u00a0<strong>closes the water outlet below a certain pressure<\/strong>, preventing the volume of water contained in the installation&#8217;s piping network from being discharged once irrigation is completed.<\/p>\n<p>One of the great benefits of this model of irrigation dripper is that it\u00a0<strong>prevents the lower areas of a plantation from receiving more water than the rest<\/strong>, by flushing the network after irrigation.<\/p>\n<p>Another advantage is that\u00a0<strong>irrigation starts simultaneously in the same sector of the installation<\/strong>\u00a0since it is not necessary to fill the network at the beginning of each irrigation.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Anti-suction_or_Anti-siphon_Dripper\"><\/span>Anti-suction or Anti-siphon Dripper<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>anti-suction dripper<\/strong> is another version of the pressure-compensating dripper.
