At the Taylor Farms plant in Mexicali, which processes and washes fresh vegetables, the high solids content in the raw water—exacerbated by dust and the desert conditions in the area—was causing recurring clogging in the upstream filtration stages.

This had a direct impact on the stability of operations, leading to unplanned shutdowns and increased consumption of supplies, in an environment where production continuity and food safety are critical.
