Companies in the cleaning and hygiene products manufacturing sector, such as Fábrica de Jabón La Corona, rely heavily on water as a key input in their processes, since its quality directly affects both operational efficiency and the final characteristics of the product (foam, stability, texture, and performance).
In these types of industries, water is not only used as a raw material but also plays a role in key stages such as dilution, reaction, washing, and rinsing; therefore, parameters such as hardness, dissolved solids, and organic matter must be kept under control.

In an industrial operation such as this, where water quality directly impacts the formulation and performance of products such as soaps and detergents, the need was identified to implement a desalination solution that would guarantee a water supply with controlled and consistent characteristics. Decisions had to be made urgently to avoid compromising the continuity of water-dependent production lines during critical stages such as mixing, dilution, and rinsing.
To meet these requirements, an AZUD WATERTECH OSM DOX54 reverse osmosis plant was installed, designed to ensure a continuous supply of water of sufficient quality for the process.
