The Industrial Division of AZUD has contributed to the resumption of wastewater treatment at the Godelleta WWTP (Valencia) following the passage of the most recent DANA. Thanks to the installation of a treatment plant AZUD WATERTECH WW MBBR Thanks to the containerized system, the wastewater treatment system was quickly and efficiently restored, minimizing the impact of the emergency on water management.
The recent cold drop caused significant damage to key infrastructure, affecting the operations of several treatment plants in the Valencian Community. In response to this situation, AZUD Industrial provided an immediate solution, supporting the work of Global Omnium – EGEVASA, whose efforts have been essential to ensuring the supply of drinking water and the restoration of the affected facilities.

“Our commitment to efficient and sustainable water management drives us to develop solutions that address the sector’s real needs, especially in emergency situations like this one,” says Francisco Peña López, sales manager at AZUD Industrial and an expert in water treatment.
AZUD’s containerized MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) technology stands out for its ability to adapt to different operating conditions, making it easy to install and commission in record time. Its modular design allows for a rapid response in decentralized settings, restoring water treatment without the need for major construction or lengthy implementation periods.

Thanks to its inventory plan and fast manufacturing lead times, AZUD Industrial ensures immediate solutions when they are needed most, contributing to the resilience of water infrastructure in the face of extreme weather events.
With this initiative, AZUD reaffirms its commitment to optimizing water resources, sustainability, and efficiency in water management, supporting communities and operators in implementing innovative, high-impact solutions.
