The past Friday, April 24, AZUD received the AENOR Zero Waste Certification, at an event in which the Ángel Luis, Director of AENOR Murcia, presented the certificate to our CEO, Alejandro Escolar. This recognition highlights the company’s commitment to responsible and efficient waste management.
Certification AENOR’s Zero Waste Initiative certifies that an organization manages its waste rigorously, ensuring that most of it is reused, recycled, or recovered, thereby preventing it from being sent to landfills. In the case of AZUD, this recognition attests to our ability to recycle more than 90% of the waste generated, reaching levels close to 98 %, characteristic of standards of excellence.
This achievement goes beyond simply obtaining a certificate. It reflects a management approach based on process control, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, integrating sustainability as a core pillar of our daily operations.
